my heart is bursting with love, joy, and happiness. I am so….just happy in these moments. We cleaned this morning to christmas music and then decorated the tree and all the while he was singing along with the music with me. Its been a while since ive really felt the holiday spirit (its hard when youre so far from family and havent been home for christmas in at least 3 years) and in the moment of putting on the lights and hearing him sing i couldnt help but melt within myself and just soak it all in. WE are a family, and we have so many years of building small memories like these. how does that not make a person melt?
