UGH! Love the dog park but my dogs feet got MESSED up there tonight. I noticed on the way home she was favoring one leg so i checked out the bottom of her foot….yep split to sh*t. I get home and start to clean it and it realize its bleeding…FAHK! So i clean it some more and put her in her kennel, time for some rest. I left to a friends house and come home to find she has basically licked/pulled the rest of the pad off. I dont know how to explain it but its super soft and black but you can tell that its redish pink too (aka sore and not okay). I want to put triple antibiotic ointment on but i know she will lick it off.
1) does anyone own a cone possibly
2) have any other possible solutions. her foot is basically about to be bloody meat :(
Went food shopping finally and 75% of my cart was filled with stuff from the outside of the market (note all the healthy stuff is on the edges….fresh produce, meats, so on and so forth). I am excited to eat this week away in healthy choices and see the weight come off again.
spent a few hours reading a fitness mag, and lounging on the beach w my girlfriend
and NOW? off to do a little extra work at the gym since i wasnt very good to myself yesterday.

I think maybe I should be more serious about being a fitblr or something. EPIC FAILUR on the food front today. I allowed myself some extras but totally kicked my own ass and almost KILLED this hill ive been working on since i started running (off and on) I’m pretty sure if i hit again on sunday/monday i’ll be able to find it in me to full on kill it.
basically i havent been able to make it up this hill w.o stopping. I made it about 50 ft from the top and HAD to stop for 30 seconds, then kept going. I havent made it more than 50 ft up without stopping so progress for sure.
I felt good about having worked out the spam musubi i allowed myself today. buuuuuut then i went to my friends house and RAIDED her pantry. Microwave popcorn, like 8 or 9 cookies, and then several chips. FAHK!
So i got off track a week ago and said fuck it all. I got better with food (only a little) and kicked back into gear with exercise-so this coming week im getting better with food and to start it off i am replenishing the food in my house with delish healthy things. SUCK IT UP! Getting a trainer, eating yummy (but healthy) food and working out will in the end make me feel better about myself. I suppose i will actually start blogging about my now toning experience, and my FINAL 2 pounds of weight loss (because these past 5 and now these 2 pounds are proving to be major bitches.)

So im trying to find some good fitness blogs because i need motivation, i need to tone and i need to be serious about it. Im reading all these blogs about people who have a bowl of cereal in the am, fruit for lunch and popcorn for dinner……….ummmmmm thats NOT healthy nor is it the road to success. It saddens me that this is what girls feel the need to do to lose weight.
okay so im not doing SO horrible on the food front, but ive GOT to stop eating after 7pm. More water, and back on track with healthier snacks, and less junky ones. Im motivated to work out, I love the feeling of sweating and the burn it all means im doing work but im not going to make the progress im looking for if i dont pay attention to my food. Its not about not eating anything bad for me but i pick whatever is available and then i eat something else thats available, and then something else thats available because nothing perfect is available. Ive got to be better about picking and choosing.
I need new snack foods….anyone have suggestions for good healthy snacks?
